Existing Customers

You can fast track your application using our existing customer portal. Your previous application has been saved so all you need to do is verify or edit your information and as we have already verified your identity, you do not need to provide this again.

  • Login to the Existing Customer Portal
  • Select Create New Loan
  • Verify or Edit the information saved from your previous application
  • Submit your Application
  • A Credit Rep will contact you to verify your information
  • We will need your last 90 days bank transactions and current ( ie within the last month) evidence of your income. You will receive an e-mail from us with instructions on how to retrieve your bank statements. Your income evidence can be scanned and e-mailed or you can take a photo with your Smartphone and e-mail to us.
  • Electronically sign your contract
  • Funds deposited straight to your account

Supporting documents

To begin processing your loan application we need to verify the following information:

  • Your identity
  • Your income
  • Your last 90 days of bank transactions for the account your income is deposited to

To verify who you are:

  • We use an online identity verification process which cross-references your details from a range of public and government databases. This is undertaken in accordance with the law, including the privacy legislation.
  • If your identity is unable to be verified online, we may request you to provide us with ID documentation by an alternate means.

To verify your income:

  • We will need you to provide us with copies of your recent income documents; payslips (if you are employed) or your Centrelink income statement. You can scan or take a photo of your documents with your smart phone, and e-mail them to us.

To obtain your preceding 90 days of bank transactions for the account your income is deposited to:

  • We use a service called MOGOcheck. It is a customer driven application that allows you to access your bank account through internet banking and provide us with the required information. It provides the information without requiring you to provide your internet banking login details to anyone except your bank – neither we, the lender nor Mogo will ever see them.
  • When you have submitted your application, you will receive an e-mail from us with instructions on how to use the MOGOcheck service to retrieve your transactions. It is fast, secure, and does not cost you anything.

Why do we need to verify these things?

  • Your identity must be established and verified under Federal law before a loan product can be offered to you.
  • Federal law requires that we obtain the preceding 90 days of bank transactions for the bank account into which your income is deposited as part of assessing your loan application.
  • We cannot arrange a loan for you that you cannot afford to pay. All consumer credit providers must obtain sufficient information to verify and assess that you can meet the loan obligations and repayments without substantial hardship – before they approve the loan. We gather the information so that the lender has enough information to ensure that the loan you seek is right for your needs.

Receiving your money

Once your loan is approved, documents are signed and any conditions satisfied, your money will be transferred electronically into your nominated deposit account.
Your loan funds will be ready to withdraw as soon as your bank or financial institution can process the deposit.
Exact time frames depend on a number of factors, including your financial institution’s processing times – most will be processed by the beginning of the next business day.
